Can I use FrameKey for non-Framer products?
FrameKey is specifically designed for Framer projects. However, you can use the API to integrate license key verification into other platforms if needed.
How does FrameKey integrate with Stripe?
FrameKey integrates directly with Stripe to handle payments. Simply provide your Stripe price ID, and FrameKey will automatically generate license keys upon successful payment.
Is FrameKey secure?
Yes, FrameKey uses industry-standard security practices including secure authentication, encrypted data storage, and secure API endpoints. All payment processing is handled by Stripe, which is PCI DSS compliant.
What happens if a customer cancels their subscription?
When a customer cancels their subscription, their access to restricted content is automatically revoked. You can configure the cancellation behavior in your Stripe settings.
Does FrameKey support one-time purchases?
Yes, FrameKey supports both subscription-based and one-time purchases through Stripe integration.
How do users activate their license keys?
Users receive their license keys automatically after purchase. They can then use these keys to access restricted content in your Framer site. License keys can be verified via the FrameKey API.
What are audiences?
Audiences are groups of members that you can organize and manage. Each audience can have its own settings, domains, and Stripe configuration, allowing you to run multiple membership sites from a single FrameKey account.
How many license keys can I generate?
The number of license keys depends on your plan. The Plus plan includes up to 5,000 license keys, while the Pro plan offers unlimited license keys.
Can I customize the license key format?
License keys are automatically generated in a secure format. Custom formats may be available in future updates.
What happens if I exceed my plan limits?
You'll be notified when approaching your limits. You can upgrade your plan at any time to access higher limits.
Do you offer refunds?
Refund policies are handled through Stripe. Please refer to your Stripe account settings for refund management.
